I am Michelle Morrice, mum to 11 year old Alec Morrice who has Sanfilippo Type C. For three consecutive years I have competed in the Brisbane Tough Mudder and I am gearing up to do it again with my friends from F45 Keperra/Mitchelton.

We are looking for tough mothers (and brothers) to join our team and help children battling this fatal childhood disease by competing in the Tough Mudder obstacle course in Queensland on the 19th May, 2019

Sanfilippo is a serious degenerative condition robbing children of life between 12-20 years. Children with Sanfilippo slowly lose the ability to speak, walk and eat. There is no treatment and no cure but there is HOPE. Clinical trials for a treatment for Sanfilippo Type C are in development but desperately need funding.
