12 Week Training Plans
Now you're committed it's time to get training! Below you'll find details of the training plans and schedules for each of our challenges.
The Big Feet & Little Feet Family Fun Run
You can do the family fun run without any training - its all about fun and being a part of it!
However, if you'd like to get some preparation in, your local ParkRun is great for training and getting a feel for the distance.
Parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around Australia. They are open to everyone, they're free, and are safe and easy to take part in.
If you are on the Northern Beaches, there is often a group of SFSuper Series peeps doing the Curl Curl ParkRun on a Saturday morning. You'll need to register before hand - head to www.parkrun.com.au for more information and to register.
For our PERTH Big Feet & Little Feet event, try Parkrun Canning Park!
Surf Coast Century Trail Run
If you've registered for the Surf Coast Century you will receive an email from 'Final Surge' giving you access to our our online training program. You'll be able access the program via your web browser or by downloading the Final Surge app from your app store.
This is a fantastic service provided by our SFSuper Series Run Trainer, Gary Mullins.
If you have any problems accessing the Final Surge platform, or any questions about your training plan, don't hesitate to reach out to us by emailing email@example.com.
Included in your training program is a number of Group Training Runs that take place around the Northern Beaches. These are a great way to meet other participants and stay motivated during those cold winter months!
All Group Training Runs will be listed in the Strava app, which you can download from your app store. To help us manage numbers, we ask you to RSVP to any Group Training Runs you want to attend by joining our Strava SFSuper Series Run Club.

Pre Training - Endure24 CrossFit
For safety reasons, its highly recommended you get at least 3 months of CrossFit experience under your belt before participating in Endure 24. This will give you an opportunity to build some familiarity with the movements and general structure of CrossFit style training.
Our recommendation is that you join a CrossFit gym near you and start taking classes where you can be instructed on the correct technique for the basic movements.
The CrossFit Manly Vale timetable is available here and there are PLENTY of beginner friendly sessions.
CrossFit Manly Vale is offering Endure24 participants who are new to CrossFit a special pre-training membership rate prior to the challenge. If you would like to take up this offer, please contact us at email@example.com.
Pre Training - Coogee Island Swim
The Training Plans for the Swim will be posted up here on in July, with the first group ocean swim session in Manly on Sunday 2 September.
